BVP's Top 3: Cabinet picks, education, and "Morning Joe"

The 2024 election was a resounding rebuff to President Biden's America and a mandate for Donald Trump to lead in a new direction.

BIG IDEA: Time for a forward agenda.

1. PRESIDENT TRUMP'S CABINET PICKS

Donald Trump has learned from his last administration. He's installing his own people, not the establishment's. Solid choices include Marco Rubio, Mike Huckabee, and especially Susie Wiles as chief of staff.

2. THREE CHEERS FOR EDUCATION REFORM

Trump promised to scale back the federal Department of Education. It's the right move. The people who care most for children are parents, not a D.C. bureaucracy out of touch with America. Enough is enough.

3. "MORNING JOE" MEETS PRIVATELY WITH TRUMP

MSNBC's morning anchors are catching criticism for reaching out to Trump and his supporters. But in truth, more journalists should seek to understand. They're out of touch with America. Kudos to "Morning Joe" and to Trump for taking the meeting.
