At the Freedom Center Conference in Naples, Florida, over the weekend, hope was running high for President Donald Trump's second term.
BIG IDEA: Elections have consequences.
My top 3 takeaways this week as we navigate the news media landscape:
1. AMERICA STIFF-ARMS WOKENESS CULTURE
Pronoun nonsense. Mutilating children. Undermining parental rights. America is not buying what wokeness is selling. And refreshing voices from Gen Z may lead the way in rejecting the woke agenda.
2. A NEW SHERIFF IN TOWN
Trump has learned lessons during his 'exile' from the Oval Office. More zeal to govern. Less dependence on the establishment. Now he's set his sights on clearing out the bureaucracy.
3. WE BELIEVE IN DOGE
Americans are thirsty for a legitimate Department of Government Efficiency. We're done with politics as usual. And with Iowa's Sen. Joni Ernst partnering with DOGE, we expect fulfillment of her campaign promise to make D.C. pork spenders "squeal."
