Introducing LEAD Iowa's 2023 Worldview Weekend!
Friday July 21-Sunday July 23, 2023

What is LEAD?

LEAD is a program of The FAMiLY Leader, hosted on an Iowa college campus each summer, designed to give high school youth (those entering 9th grade through those who just graduated 12th) practical, hands-on experience and solid, biblical teaching to encourage and equip them to be ambassadors for Christ.

LEAD invites high school students to become leaders TODAY – not to “wait ‘til they grow up,” but to be ambassadors for Christ in whatever field God sets them, starting right NOW. Through solid, biblical teaching, practical hands-on experience, and the enthusiastic coaching of a team dedicated to encouraging today’s teens, LEAD equips students to have the courage, the confidence, and the conviction to change their world!

How is this summer's LEAD different?

For the past five years, LEAD’s week-long program has paired biblical worldview teaching with hands-on experience at the Iowa Capitol through a mock legislature.

For those who have been through LEAD before, the 2023 LEAD “Worldview Weekend” will look different in three ways.

LEAD 2023 WILL BE A WEEKEND, RATHER THAN A FULL WEEK

LEAD 2023 will zero in on biblical worldview teaching, without the mock legislature experience, but with even more opportunities to question, challenge, stretch, and grow our biblical thinking!

LEAD 2023 STUDENTS CAN LEAVE THE SKIRTS, SUITS, AND TIES AT HOME FOR A MORE COMFORTABLE, CASUAL EXPERIENCE
